How did your dealer diagnose it? My issue is that my reception is significantly worse than my Gen 1 on my commute--it starts getting crackly about 20 miles from my home where in the Gen 1 it was completely fine my whole commute. Of course, my dealer is only a few miles from me.

Did they just inspect the antenna and determine a fix was necessary, or did you have to drive it?

Mine was replaced too. It slowly got worse and worse until I couldn't tune any station in. I ended up taking in 3 different times. On the 3rd try they found the cable was frayed. Replaced it and has been good since.

I'm not sure they did.. they didn't explain anything to me.. just "it's the antenna, we are ordering parts", "Here you go it's fixed" and to my surprise it was! I just hope it stays fixed ;)

I'll tell them. Sometimes my dealer "takes my word for it" when it's a known issue that they've seen and fixed on the Volt before. Flip a coin.
