There's a guy who hogs a parking/charging spot in my area. He has a toyota RAV4 EV. It is always plugged in to the charger but there are never any lights on his dashboard that are lit. Question is: If the vehicle is indeed receiving a needed charge, how many lights should be on? This guy is an inconsiderate jerk.

The chargers at my workplace have indicators to show whether they are currently charging or not. Are there any lights or text display on yours? It's too complex to learn how all the different cars indicate charge (plus even our own Gen1 and Gen2 have opposite indications for full charge!).

Can we get an international standards committee to work on this issue??

according to the document linked above:

How to tell if an EV is done charging?
Toyota RAV4 EV
Both amber lights (at the bottom of the back side window above the charge port on the driver's side of
the car) will be solid or off

I assume this means at least one blinks while charging.
