I am not sure you can plug directly into 220 volt. I belive the charger meters teh current flow.. I could be wrong... this is something I think you need to check.

The carside charger can take 220 fine, but the EVSE won't handle it - most likely you'll fry that if you try it (something worse could happen, but I doubt it.)

OTOH, if what you want is a 110/220 portable charger with your choice of plug adapters, and you're willing to spend the money, there is a solution out there...

These guys offer an option, based on the Leaf factory portable unit. They also sell both an adapter back to a 120V cord and "pigtail" adapters you can complete with the right plug from your local hardware store. It's probably the direction I'll go for 220 charging eventually (currently I use the 110 unit that came with the car.)
