Ok, something minor but darn it! My car is only 8 months old!

The circular trim piece around the mount for the drivers sun visor came loose. I looked at it and immediately saw that 2 of the tiny "nubs" that click into the piece that holds the visor on the roof had broken. The engineer who designed this piece should be shot! If you guys look at these you won't believe how flimsy this piece is designed.

I know this is a warranty repair, I'll have it done the next time I take it in.

Hmmmm, is this the first time someone has reported this? Doesn't appear to be a wide spread issue from what I can see.

Sounds like a simple production flaw, or poor installation, to me. GM probably has used the same design in every one of its cars for years.

Hold the firing squad for something important, like the triple honk.

Yeah, that does suck, but please think about how worse you could have it. Like a misfire every time you ease away from a stop. That would be annoying. At least you have a warranty repair ready for it. Like Fyodor said, it's likely someone over zealously attaching it and it compromised the longevity of the nubs.
