That does feel nice. But for some perspective, it's still less gas than is used in the US on any given day of the year :(
I came up with this analysis: 216M gallons would power 357,615 passenger vehicles for approx. 1 year (assumes 14,500 miles per year and 24 mpg for ~604 gallons per year per vehicle.)

US burns on the average 391.4 Million gallons of gas a day in 2017.

I displaced about 1,800 gallons of gas in 2017.

So EVs reduced our transportation oil consumption by 0.15% in 2017. Not much, but it's also not an insigificant number in that it has the oil industry starting to take notice and get nervous.
