Play in Steering

Hello,
Had to take my Volt in for service. They had to replace I believe what they called a vapor line from the ICE to the rear battery. Said it had been damaged by heat, and engine had to be removed to replace. Three weeks later I got my volt back. Now it seems to have about a half inch of play in the steering left and right. Seems I'm always correcting to keep a straight line down the highway. Also while driving straight steering wheel is slightly off set to the left. I took it back to service and they said they hooked it up to the computer and also drove and says nothing wrong with it. Hmmm. is it me, I swear it wasn't like that before the ICE removal. What do you think.... Thanks

Sounds like a wheel alignment problem. Maybe the technician hit a pothole while test driving your vehicle. You may have to pay for the alignment, then complain to the service manager to be reimbursed by the dealer or GM.
