So, I'm not happy with where my phone is (down low) if I want to use waze or other such apps. I looked at VoltShelf option - but that is low too. Hey Scarlett you gonna make one that mounts up high?

So I was wondering about sticking the mount I have on the upper left corner of the volt screen? It would barely cover any of the actual screen as it has such a large bezel and when the phone s on - it still does not cover too much.

I'm wondering if there are any sensors in the upper left of the screen that would suffer from being covered?

When I first read the title I wondered why in the heck you'd want to stick your phone on the front of your car. But then I realized you're not talking about THAT Voltscreen...

So I'm just brainstorming here, you may not like my idea.

I have a Gen 1 that has the convenient little "fake vent window" so I just suction cupped my GPS there and honestly I really like the location.

So since you don't have that glass on your Gen 2, I'd imagine you could get some of these adhesive discs (the 3M ones are the best)

And then you could mount one on that black side panel, and have the same end result.

icharry, have you considered a friction mount? Those would sit beautifully in that little hole behind the MyLink screen. No need to worry about a suction cup losing suction and dropping your expensive phone. You phone would also be in a pretty good position as a make-shift dash cam.
