As ugly as current Prius offerings are, there is a huge number of happy owners of past models willing to buy enough of these cars to make them a success. There are a lot of new ones running around S Cal. already and after awhile, one does not notice the ugliness. They do jump out and they ARE well-made cars, and I am sure that the owners are happy once they get inside......

I'm assuming this comes with a performance and handling boost of some sort. If so, good for them. Always welcome.

And truthfully, I think this grill is a huge improvement over the standard Prius Prime's "predator" grill, which is unforgivable.

IMO, if GM was smart, they'd offer a similar package on the Volt and Bolt to increase sales to the younger demographic.

That Prius has "Z06 Style" wheels (10 spokes in parallel pairs), a fake intercooler stack up front, and the Whale Tail rear look.

That doesn't cost the MFR much, but does make the car look like it's fast.

GM would do a much better job.

I hope Toyota realizes that a sport Prius probably won't help its sales. Take the Prius Prime drivetrain and put it in a s different car and it might do ok. The local Toyota dealer has a prime sitting for months that they can't sell. I imagine Toyota is looking for creative ways to sell them.
