That's not to say we should be happy. No one would be happy having their car unusable or limping along for 3-4 months. I'm saying the grass is no greener with the other auto manufacturers. Blaming GM for something that's global and threatening to never buy another car from GM is understandable but unreasonable. The chip shortage has vexed automakers across the globe since 2020, forcing many automakers to temporarily close factories and trim production. The shortage has limited the supply of new vehicles on dealer lots in the U.S. to around 1 million, when in normal years it's about 4 million at any given time.
Your Bolt EUV has in-dash navigation? I didn’t think Bolts offered that. Hopefully when they give you a new SD card, you will be able to create a backup copy just in case.My built in navigation map SD card is corrupted all of a sudden and its own reader can't read it. This is not acceptable for a 3 months old $40K car.
It was not available for my 2017 nor do I see it for a 2022 Bolt EUV. So, I'm saying they don't.Your Bolt EUV has in-dash navigation? I didn’t think Bolts offered that.
The 2022, and I assume the 2023, Bolt EUV premier with the sun and sound package has built in navigation. Apparently it is a slightly different version of the Chevrolet Infotainment 3 Plus system. But the premier with super cruise does NOT, go figure.......It was not available for my 2017 nor do I see it for a 2022 Bolt EUV. So, I'm saying they don't.
Aha! Thanks for that. Leppard3. Unlike my Volt's nav system, the Bolt EUV's requires a subscription. The 2022, and I assume the 2023, Bolt EUV premier with the sun and sound package has built in navigation. I am not 100% sure on that, I don't believe the built in NAV requires a subscription. I know some people were saying it did, but I know on at least a few of them ,it was user error. Obviously OnStar has a subscription turn by turn navigation feature, but who would pay for that?Aha! Thanks for that. Leppard3. Unlike my Volt's nav system, the Bolt EUV's requires a subscription.
Apparently an embedded nav map is available, but many prefer to use the phone (wireless or wired) displayed in the screen using Wayze, etc.Heck, for all we know the whole "navigation" as described as in documentation here fits into "onstar service levels that include turn by turn". Nothing posted suggests other "regular nav" exists onboard.
Already did all of that. No change. It still said "SD card was removed"did you/ can you remove and replace, see if it is a dirty connection that needs reseating
UPDATE: As it turns out, the SD card was corrupted and had to be replaced with a new one under warranty.did you/ can you remove and replace, see if it is a dirty connection that needs reseating
I stumbled across this post. I'm also in the SF Bay. My Volt is getting serviced at a dealership, and it's been there for nearly two months because they can't get this part you mention -- fuel injector o-rings.Hello! I have a 2017 Chevy Volt Premier and am stuck for parts. Does anyone know where I can find OE GM parts for a new set of fuel injector seals? Part Number = 12665136.
