Parking Brake Calibration
I have a 2012 Volt, now with 70k miles on it. When I purchased it CPO I had an issue with the parking brake cable seizing that was covered under the warranty. I just replaced both calipers and rotors in the rear. In the process I realized that the new cable that was put in was actually slightly engaged all the time. Now with the new calipers, one side the cable is too loose, and the other size would be engaged all the time.
I remember seeing "Parking Brake Calibration" on the work order when the replaced the cable last time. Has anyone had to have this done, or know if there is a way to adjust the cable length manually?
