Two weeks ago my Parking Assist system started generating false alerts and loss of sensitivity (had to be within a foot or so of an object) before the system would alert me. I found a slightly bent license plate that I flattened and thought that solved my issue. The only issue it solved was what I call FALSE-POSITIVE alerts when I was actually driving, not slowly pulling into a parking spot. Then the audible alerts all but stopped. This is all on the front, the rear sensors work fine.
So long story short car was dropped off at the dealer last evening. Details to follow.
On a side note at 6:15 pm my phone alerts me I have a message, I received the notice that my Volt had just completed charging. Kudo's to my Chevy dealer, they parked it inside and plugged it in.
