Check engine light came on right when my '13 Volt (31500 miles) switched over to engine mode from battery.
Onstar gave me these two codes
P0BBE
P1EE0

P1EE0 seems to be a generic fault code.
P0BBE apparently has something to do with the battery system.

I will update this thread when I find out what is wrong, and what the dealer did, just for future reference if anyone else runs across this code.

Looks like you may have a bad cell in one of the battery sections. Not very common on the the Volt.

UPDATE - "check engine" light extinguished, made appt with dealer but not sure if I should go.
Note that I charged vehicle with a portable 240v esve remotely. I am wondering if my mistake was to throw the switch for the RV NEMA 14-50 plug first before disconnecting. I had the vehicle "on" while plugged in, unplugged it while live.

Will update if error code comes back.
