Recently moved from MA to FL. Have to say that there are a lot fewer places to charge for free in FL compared to MA. Not saying that charging should always be free (that's not a sustainable business model as EV adoption grows) but while we can get it for free I am happy to accept it and be thankful.

That said, Mall at Millenia has 4 free chargers that I've yet to see all filled. :) Much better than the single Blink ($$) charger at the Florida Mall.

Great that Disney has chargers at 3 out of 4 parks plus Disney Springs. Expect that when construction is complete at Hollywood Studios (Star Wars Land) there will be chargers there too. The $1.50 minimum is quite reasonable considering the stations at the parks are all in Preferred Parking locations (without having to pay the Preferred price, at least not for an annual pass holder).

Wish Universal would add public charging. They try to compete with Disney in every other way so they're missing the boat on this one so far.

Nice looking Volt.

Is that stock ride height?

Did you paint the lower rockers or is that wrapped?

Nice looking Volt Mr. Double_E!
My last volt was the same color...no where as pretty. Got rid of mine recently after spending $3500 bucks for EV battery repair. Couldn't stay away. Love not having to pay for gas and quiet acceleration of car. I did upgrade to a 2014 premium edition with low mileage (63K).
BTW, I have noticed other Volts in Orlando area and always exchange the thumbs up in acknowledgement of our unique status. Though it would be nice to network, share ideas and support each other in doing modifications and other projects.

wouldn't consider 63K on a 4 year old car to be 'low mileage' - 12 to 15K per year is about average. By comparison, my 2014 Ford Transit Connect has 26K on it . . . . and my 1994 Mazda Miata (purchased used in 1999) has only 60K

Sorry but I dont see how that is relevant to the post or productive at all. Let him enjoy it. That's low mileage for what some people drive. I put almost 10k miles on my 18 since I bought it in May so my car will have like 80k in 4 years so it's less than what mine will have in equal time, lol. But on the other hand my 94 Mustang GT which was bought in 94 new only has 40k so your miata is high mileage by comparison to that. Lmao. Anyway let's not derail the guys post.

To the OP, I'm in Miami and not many Volts at all here. Lots in Orlando though. When I go to disneyworld I see them everywhere.

Gonna give thise a try next week when we. Go to AK. As I inderstand it I just tell the parking folks that zi need an EV charger. We live near Eustis so I should be able to get there on battery power and after charging up get hone with no gas used!
