There are a few folks that have used and reviewed the Duosida L2 charger. I picked up an Orion Motor Tech charger for $200 (shipped). It virtually the exact same thing as the Duosida. I, of course, tested it at 110v and it worked flawlessly. I *was* going to put a dryer plug on it and install a socket in my garage. But, I decided to keep it simple. I have a tankless water heater that uses three of the four slots in the service panel, so I ran a fourth with a 30 amp breaker. I kept it simple and just snipped off the 110v plug and wired it to a 10/3 cord I ran from the panel. I got a good power indicator light with no fault, so I figured I was good to go. I said a little prayer as I plugged it into the Volt. It works GREAT! I purposely ran the battery down to zero to see how long it would take. 4.5 hours. I keep the OEM charger in it's designated place in the trunk.

All is well with the world. Aaaaaaaaaaah! :)

Thank you for the info.

I have used the Duosida L2 unit for almost 6 months without issue. It really is not rocket science and if I can save a few bucks it's all good.

I have 2 Duosidas, one permanently mounted for 220v and 1 I carry in the car with a 110v adapter......the OEM stays in its storage spot.
