I recently traded my beloved 2015 Gen 1 for a 2018 LT. I've got 3k miles on the new 2018, and love it.

One thing that bugs me, though, is the high volume of the initial opening show when powering up the car. The door chime and the jet fighter sounds begin so loud that they actually bug me. They stay quite loud for maybe three seconds and then quiet down until they end.

My 2015 made these same sounds but were nowhere near as loud. I've been through the settings, but not found anything there to address this. Is there an adjustment?

Turn the volume knob down just as the sound is happening. It should “stick” for the next show
