Our old 2012 was upgraded to to 4G. I don't use it, but on a recent trip to Florida, it was heavily used by my wife to catch up on news. It was certainly capable of streaming CNN video clips. Since I have not kept the Directions and Connections package and having only the original navigation system, it was also useful when navigating in new areas.
Onstar "unlimited" hotspot data offer
Got an email today saying it's $20 a month for unlimited data through the car. I let my Wi-Fi hotspot trial in the Volt lapse. Anyone know more about this or plan on getting it?
I have to figure out whether I'm in the car long enough with enough opportunity to safely use it to make it really worthwhile for $20 a month.....
