I bought my 2012 volt used about a year ago and right now it has 207,379 miles on it.

I replaced the front brakes on it when I got it and am about to take out a tpms sensor that is unresponsive, but other than that, not a tick.

Best car I've ever owned and I've had over 20 in the last 20 years.

That's really impressive. Well done. Mine is just getting broken in it seems!

Has the 12v battery been replaced?

Good to hear how well the Volt holds up to time and mileage. Are you the second owner? Do you know the repair history? Good luck with your car.

Yeah, it runs like new. The beauty of motor vs engine.

I am the second owner. The first was supposedly GE as a fleet car. I haven't looked into that though. I don't have the repair history either. I wonder if I could get that from a dealer if it was said to have been dealer serviced?

I'd go to your friendly dealer and approach the service desk with my VIN and ask them to view the service history via the computer. That information is stored remotely AFAIK. It would be interesting to know how many previous owners there were, too.

EDIT: Ask for a printout of the service history for your records.
