All I can say is that the car is awesome!! Driving from Newmarket, Ontario to North York(Toronto) at a round trip of 104km a day. All charging done at home(no charging allowed at work)

drove 28715 km

$433.16 in electricity cost/year

76.21 liters of fuel used

3448 liters of fuel saved(approx) when compared to my 2005 Montana van using 12-13 Liters per 100km(if my figure is correct)

tell me if I calculated Liters of fuel saved incorrectly

The car is great. when I try to expalin it to my friends, they just don't get it! Oh well too bad for them.

Maybe it's too early yet (just over 1000 miles on my new 2017 Volt Premier) for me to cheerlead, but so far I am just thrilled with my car. I am waiting for a Tesla Model 3, but this new Volt is making the wait painless. It is so solid and basically is a "pure" EV for the most part of my daily driving. But when I do the occasional "road trip" I have no worries as to range. The transition from electric to gas is so smooth....almost undetectable. It appears the Volt is a "sleeper" and doesn't get the attention it deserves. Fingers crossed that it will be issue free and reliable for as long as I keep it.
