I have received two emails from Gongos Inc about participating in a beta test of a new program that works with OnStar. Has anyone else received this email? Is it legit? Or is it phishing?

I received the same 2 invitations, I have not responded to either email.

Isn't that the same company run by a Nigerian prince who is always emailing us and asking us to email him $1000???

I think Gongos is mainly a survey company. My cable and internet provider is Cox Communications. I signed up for some kind of "town meeting" thing and every now and then they send me a survey about possible new services and features. After each survey they say I'm entered in a drawing for $100 or something. Recently they sent me a $10 Amazon gift card for my trouble.

I just re-upped my onstar this week and the credit card charge says "Connected Services"

Someone at Onstar needs a kick in the pants.
