Newbie question-is it okay to leave the stock EVSE plugged in 24/7 whether actually charging the Volt or not? I'd like to Install a mount outdoor just for the cable and plug and leave the EVSE plugged in inside the garage. Would love to leave the EVSE plugged in with easy outdoor access rather than opening and closing (manually) the garage everyday.

Better for the evse too. Constant plugging in and out puts less strain on the wall plugs and the EVSE end into the wall. Make sure your wall outlet is of the best quality and properly wired.
