I've been on the market for a used Volt for a few weeks now, looking for the right example. I finally found the one for me and bought it just in time for my birthday.
I found a 2014 Volt fully optioned in nearly perfect condition. It was coming off a lease with only 22k miles on the odometer and an original lease date in December 2014. This means my Volt still has 14K miles and nearly a year left on the original bumper to bumper warranty, which takes a lot of the worries out of the purchase of a used car. It's also a late 2014 build date (VIN ends in the high 166xxx range) which means that there's a good chance I have the "soft" upgrade to the 2015 battery packs.
Paid a price comparible to other 2014's with double the mileage...I think I got a decent deal.
And now I'm off to buy accessories (supplemental grill protector, L2 charger, etc).
