As we don't have OnStar in OZ, would it be possible to use an OBDII Y-Cable to connect both of these devices to work simultaneously?

(1) The OVMS project for the Volt/Ampera (Similar functionality to OnStar app)

Potentially Remote lock/unlock, precondition, battery status, etc

(2) A bluetooth OBDII adapter for use with the Android app - Torque. (I use with my current ride).

Fuel consumption, SOC, RPM, Trip data, etc.

I don't think the Onstar functionality is figured out completely for the Volt. I wish they would go after hold mode for pre-'13's.

My experience with the port is it's possible to screw up and trip error codes and the main battery disconnects. torque and an elm327 Bluetooth are fine if you don't get wild with custom PID's. I ended up getting a DashDaq because I could nit find the PID's I wanted.

Good Luck
