Computers and software are going on. What's new?I am no longer getting ev miles on my RemoteLink Android app. Everything else on the app is working fine.
I have also disappeared from voltstats.net, suggesting that the issue is at the Onstar server.
Anybody know what is going on?
Unfortunately, no. This is one place where GM should NOT have made the Volt just like a 'normal' car.Is there a place on the car itself that shows total EV miles for lifetime?
I love it!AND it runs on magic!
You can math it up pretty easily, as long as your lifetime MPG isn't "250+". Divide your usual MPG (I just use the EPA for convenience) by the Lifetime and you get a number that's your fraction of the odometer that's gas fueled miles. 1 - that number is your fraction of EV miles. Multiply by odometer reading. Ain't perfect, but probably matches within a couple percent of what the website would say.Is there a place on the car itself that shows total EV miles for lifetime?
Works just fine for me, and has, minus a couple of day, all the way through this. I attribute this to regular whiskey-drinking.Is Voltstats working for anyone anymore? Mychevrolet.com has started working again but not Voltstats. If Onstar has stopped providing stats there is 0 chance that I will renew when my free 3 years ends.
Is your volt 2015 or newer?I just checked RemoteLink on my phone again and the update on EV mileage is still current.
It's a 2014.Is your volt 2015 or newer?
On volt stats only one 2016 is reporting all the rest are 2014 and order. Some speculation about the 4g connection but only nostar knows for sure...It's a 2014.Is your volt 2015 or newer?
2015 is when they started 4G LTE, so who knows. On volt stats only one 2016 is reporting all the rest are 2014 and order. Some speculation about the 4g connection but only nostar knows for sure...![]()
