This just in . . .

Apparently Ford may be actually marketing that car. Saw two in my town (no Volt sightings except for me).

Always hard for me to spot the Fords because they look the same as any other model. Ditto for the PIP, though sometimes they carry an HOV sticker which makes it obvious. So good spotting.

How many Prius's a month are sold? Also, what is the best selling ICE car, and how many per month?

Thanks! And keep your eyes peeled

Thanks to trumpeting_angel for the share, Sheldon for the good question, and Henry_FL for the table. I've got an article bouncing off of this that I'm going to schedule tomorrow morning on CleanTechnica. I end up rambling on a bit at the end of it, but I've gathered you all are fans of that sort of thing here. ;)
Depends on what you define as "leads". In the cleantech article it was merely discussing July 2014 sales which is a drop in the bucket.
In the USA there are still more Volts than Leafs. (28% total market presence for the Volt vs. 25% for the Leaf)
Since their simultaneous launches in Dec 2010 (to the end of July 2014) the Volt has sold on average 1482 units each month and the Leaf 1315. Since their launches the PiP has sold an average 1184 units and Tesla S 1085
Certainly the Leaf is having a banner year so far in 2014 and have closed the gap considerably but there still 5 months to go...
