Likely to experience propulsion power reduced (PPR) issue soon, due to battery age. I wouldn't buy an early Gen1 unless it was a screaming good deal (maybe $7-8k for this car).

I bought a 2012 with 33k miles on it 7 months ago. It's fantastic. I wouldn't discredit the early models. They seem to have far less issues with them than the 2013 models.

Ask the dealer for the Global Warranty Vehicle Summary. If the Emissions Warranty is the Emission Select Component Warranty, avoid the car like the plague. Each time a controller goes out, you'll end up spending over $1k to replace it. If it has the Emission Select Component Warranty, don't bother with the Emission sections of the Warranty booklet either. They apparently don't apply to the Chevy Volt.

This car is barely broken in compared to Sparkie's 450,000+ miles.
