Excellent summary. I'm on our third Volt since March 2012. Combined I have driven over 50K miles and I'm averaging over 94% of my driving off the grid. Maybe I should have bought a Tesla. FTR all three of my vehicles and driving history can be viewed/verified on VoltStat (Patty Wagen, BAZINGA and Von Zipper).
I've stopped crunching numbers, for me I just enjoy driving our Volt's. We do have a long road trip (2000 miles r/t) planned for early next spring so we'll get to stretch its legs. Looking forward since we've taken the same trip 3 times in our 2016 Equinox and there are some elevation changes that have stressed the 4 cyl ICE.
For us it's all about how great the Volt drives day in day out.
