Former Volt lesee here - looking to go back after a few years with an ICE. Recently moved to Northern Virginia (Fairfax County) and noticed that GM appears to offer some nice lease incentives in Maryland, but would I have to be a Maryland resident to take advantage of those? Or can I just go to a dealer in Maryland? Anybody have experience leasing in NoVA?

And as for lease suggestions, don't... unless you are a millionaire.

You could get a GM Buypower card, put all your expenditures on it, pay off the monthly bill in full to avoid finance charges and collect 5% for the first $5k spent (netting $250 in yearly rebates) and 2% on everything above that, but the temptation to overspend and carry a balance would clobber any benefits. On the flip side, if you run about $3M through that credit card, you can get a free volt. There are also Private Offers, Costco member incentives, and GM special offers from time to time that you can sometimes stack on top of each other.
