I have been driving my Volt Gen 2 since Feb when VW took the dirty Diesel off my hands. I have used this site for answering questions and became a member this month.
I have a 33 mile commute to NYC, down hill, one way so I can regen most of my charge half way to work.
Love the car.
Wish my Condo HOA would get on board so I can charge over night, public chargers are never close and killing 5 hours takes a lot of effort everyday.

1- new windshield- rock off a construction truck on highway
1-new tire- pothole hiding an exposed steel manhole
newly painted bumper- someone tagged the back bumper with a damaged bumper (auto body couldn't find the name of the paint color, luckily paint code was visible) "You Drive Me Grazy Metallic"

Welcome aboard. My wife's 2016 has experienced the exact 3 repairs you have reported: windshield (multiple rock chips from a produce truck on highway), 1 new tire (blowout on expressway), rear bumper sand down and repaint (she gently backed into an Oldsmobile).

There's a lot of you VW Diesel converts. Glad to have ya!

Welcome to the Clubult! :D

I have to say, I cringed on your behalf for the repairs you've had to have done already. Living in Texas I'd be lying if I weren't rather concerned/paranoid about my having to replace my Wind shield and/or Tire (I had to do both on the Prius I had before the Volt).
Talk about too many big trucks and construction zones, hah.
