New to a 2012 Volt. Is there a way to add battery "Hold"???

Hey guys is there a way to add hold mode on a 2012?

On my 2013 I have used mountain as a poor mans hold mode when I am too lazy to monitor battery level on long trips.

Key is to engage mountain right away and then disengage so you use up battery miles before your done.
