Just got the latest issue of "New Roads." Thanks, (*insert local Chevy dealer here*)!

Three features about electrification, plus the Bolt on the cover.

Interesting story selection overall. Didn't notice any articles about sedans. It was all pickups, SUVs, and electric. With Ford eliminating all of its sedan, might Chevy follow suit? What's the future for the Cruze, Malibu, & Impala? Personally, my dream car would be a voltec Malibu with 75 miles electric range (so I can be certain of 50 in the Minnesota winters) and fully fold-down rear seats, like my '98 Malibu had.

I did notice that the flow chart on picking a compact SUV didn't include the Bolt as an option. Chevy really needs to stop marketing electric vehicles as a seperate category and start marketing them as part of their regular line up - put the Volt in with sedans and the Bolt in with their small SUVs. Maybe this will happen after GM hits their 200,000 Federal Tax Credit limit.

I've never seen the new magazine--I do remember "Friends" magazine that they sent us when we bought our 1970 Chevy Nova.

But the slogan "Find New Roads" always made me think of New Roads, Louisiana. Ironically, they only have a Buick dealership there.

It's a very well done magazine and GM must spend a pretty penny on it. As a happy Volt owner I don't need more convincing. I'd rather see them spend the money on quickly getting out more pure EV's. (and in all market segments).

The day after I posted this I found a copy of the latest issue of New Roads in the mailbox. I guess I'm officially a Chevy owner now. Just surprised they would send it to the 2nd owner.

I find this even more interested as I live in a household where there are 3 different Chevy owners (Me with my '14 Volt, a 2002 Silverado and 2014 Silverado) and I don't think I've ever seen a New Roads magazine outside of a dealership or automotive shop, but I'm sure that's about to change, hah.
