I'm Matthew. I recently purchased a 2014 Volt for my wife.

I'm a Kentucky boy, but have been in Texas way too long.

Welcome, hope your wife (and you) like the 2014 as much as I have!

If you live within Austin you might be able to get a few extra perks from having the volt, like really cheap public charging if you are an Austin Energy customer, iirc.
I only work within the (North) Austin area so hopefully some other people can point out any other potential bonuses or hints and tricks to driving electric.
