Yes, thanks for the heads up on the bad GM update. I wonder if you can get your money back. Among the many better options, there are some nav apps that use completely offline map databases. The one I use is Navigon in iOS, which has been great IMO. Or one of the Garmin models that includes the lifetime free map update option. I have the GM nav and wouldn't use it even if it had a good update. The apps are just much more convenient to use for me.
