Hello all,

My name is Bob and I am a new member of this forum. I just purchased a 2017 Volt LT with 22K miles.
It is my daily commuter of a 40 miles round trip here in San Diego. My charge indicator usually shows 47
miles at full charge before leaving the office. I drive ~70 mph and using some heat in the morning I pull up to the free company charger with ~ 4 miles left on the indicator. I charge immediately upon arrival.
I like the smooth ride, power delivery and low center
of gravity. I don't like the rear visibility and the loud seat belt chime.
I will probably be most active in the Gen 2 section of this forum.

Congratulations. You will love how the mileage goes up when the heat goes off. If one buckles up right away the alarm never goes off. FWIW, My Dodge has a much more assertive and persistent seatbelt chime. The Volt's chime give you a minute or two before it chimes a reminder if you haven't buckled up. The Dodge chimes right away and then repeats about every 10 seconds.
