Thanks llninja, the delay is going to drive me nuts, but I know it will be worth the wait. In the mean time I can keep myself occupied in this wonderful forum!
That's good info, thanks! How have you dealt with charging in colder weather? I noticed the manual says to keep it plugged in when temps drop below 30f, which is a solid 3 months here. Do you plug in nightly regardless of charge state? So I live just 60 minutes south of you in Dutchess. I used the 120v charger originally but on weekends when I often go out twice the 204v charge came in very handy if you are trying to use electric all the time so I did buy the clipper creek with a a dryer plug format for portability touse at other homes if needed. However if you dont see that use or you can go out twice on one charge, no reason to get the 240v charger. Its really a personal choice. I use electric about 90% of all my driving since having my volt gen 1 for now some 4 years.
Yep, Northstar. Working with David Fletcher. I will take a peek Friday and see if there are any red volts on the lot.I have had my 2017 Volt since the April 5 and no recalls no problems. Are you getting the car from Northstar in Clifton Park? If so please let me know if they still have my red 2015 Volt that I traded in... Just curious, it is a great car that deserves a good home.
