The black bowtie emblems were already being offered as a Dealer option (as see on the window sticker) for the 2018s. I've seen several black volts already with them. To go another step further? About time!

Neat find. I think a lot of folks would appreciate being able to purchase the black pocket wheels without ending up with a second set of wheels they don't want.

Also early on in my Volt ownership I bought a set of sport pedal covers. They have been around for a while and are a common part (19212762) with the Cruze, Malibu, Verano, Regal, and others. The box says "made in Germany", so perhaps they are even an Opel-sourced part. I found a set on eBay at quite a savings over dealer prices.

Hmm. On second reading, it appears as a "LPO" package - which means dealer installed. So depending on how they price it, one might still get stuck with a second set of wheels.

That's what I used on my bowties - it's probably more resilient to rock chips, too, since it is rubberized.

I'm just seeing marketing here. All these options were already available--but maybe you feel better shelling out an extra $2k for a "blackout package" than a dealer-installed option.

Am I the only one that misses the VOLT pedals in the Gen 1? It was one of those little touches I appreciated about it.

Last time I looked the wheels alone were $1895.

You can order just the black bow ties from the dealer or various online places like gmpartsdirect. Not very expensive.
