They also "drilled" 10- to 20-nm holes in the sheets to speed up the recharging process, by as much as ten times.
Ugh, I'm worried about this. I can't access the paper to see how they did this, but if they did it using something like lithography, this might be way too expensive to do in practice. The features on a computer's memory stick are about the 10-20nm size, and they're not exactly cheap!

I just found this from the press release:

Kung’s team also used a chemical oxidation process to create miniscule holes (10 to 20 nanometers) in the graphene sheets...
So that might end up being okay in terms of price.
