1) set it to modern enhanced. It's page 103 in the manual. kinda similar.
2) no, sucks they yanked it in all product lines. Some people have bought ebay units and retrofitted them.

3) when its making "the sound" ( not sure which chime you mean ) turn the volume down. that works for most of them.
