I see the 2017 map update is now available for $160. Has anyone updated their 2016 Volt? If so, were there any noticeable differences with the mylink system?

I guarantee it is not worth it! Map changes from year to year are minimal at best!

Depends on where you live.

Here, north of Tampa, where last year were orange groves we've got a huge outlet mall, not far away to the east a huge indoor ice rink, a little further east and there's a brand new 4 lane road going north/south to who knows what. South of there are 2 new schools with associated roads. Next year the main road outside our subdivision will go from single lane to 3!. Then there's the new businesses that open & close regularly.....
