I just bought a used 2105 Volt. If I press the buttom for navigation or destination the screen says I must turn on the radio. I don't want to listen to the radio while getting turn by turn directions. What do I do?

Secondly, I tried navigation while playing music through my phone using bluetooth. The music would pause when it was time for a direction on the nav system but not directions played through the system, just silence.

For problem 1, I believe you just turn down the volume on the radio.

For problem 2, I don't understand what you are saying. What "directions played through the system" are you talking about?

Problem 1, tried that, don't hear anything.

Problem 2, I hear the music on the phone but hear nothing from the navigation system. The music on the phone pauses when the navigation system is supposed to be giving directions but I hear nothing at all.

When you have music playing through the system, the navigation announcements override the radio. When the navigation announcement comes on, adjust the sound for it to where you want it, but it has to be done during the announcement.

Most sounds/alerts have their own Vol setting that are stored in memory just adjust when you hear them playing.
