I'm a month away from my 1 year ownership and still trying to figure out some of the feature functions on my 2013 premier. One thing I haven't figured out is is the Navigation selection in the drivers screen. What is the purpose of the navigation option selection displayed below the Speedometer?

It doesn't seem to do anything when selected. I keep thinking a small version of the Nav Screen would be displayed if the Nav was running in the background and another display function was selected on the Center stack screen.

If you have a destination set in your in dash navigation, it will display directions in the driver screen when set to navigation. It doesn't show a screen but rather which direction and a progress bar that indicates when your next maneuver will occur.

Thanks, I'll look for that the next time I do a trip destination via the Nav. Personally I use my iPhone for destination travel and use the voice TbT from the phone via Bluetooth because it's easier to look up a specific destination addresses verses trying to voice command the info into the Navigation.

I set a destination yesterday to see what would happen. Sure enough, it did exactly as you described.
