Does the LT have an option for built-in Navigation (not the onstar) or would I just be limited to using the Carplay Apple Maps?
Just curious, if I "alternatively use that $ towards an Android phone" can I still take advantage of hands free calling and text messaging, which are on my regular iPhone? You can only order the optional ($495) Chevrolet Mylink 8" diagonal touch screen display with navigation on the Volt Premier.
Alternately you could put that $ towards an Android phone, then you could use Android Auto to access Google Maps and Waze.
Unfortunately, the Volt works the same way as your Bolt EV. If one device is connected to CarPlay or Android Auto, then the device on Bluetooth disconnects. I have both an Android phone and an iPhone, and I want to connect both, but only one at a time.Just curious, if I "alternatively use that $ towards an Android phone" can I still take advantage of hands free calling and text messaging, which are on my regular iPhone?
On my Bolt EV, once you connect the USB for Android CarPlay it disconnects bluetooth to the iPhone.
