NRLB alleges Tesla unlawfully suppressed union activity at its Fremont plant. Tesla says it is a nothing-burger (of course they would). NRLB regional director Valerie Hardy-Mahoney stated the agency determined that Tesla “has been interfering with, restraining and coercing employees in the exercise of their rights.”

No surprise really. Guess "production hell" just got a bit more hellish for Elon.

If those first Model 3 were delivered only to employees, they are not true "sales", as the Chevy Bolt EV had last year. That is a 100-car "beta" test.

No, we are not talking about the July delivery...Musk stated that after the 30 in July Tesla would deliver 100 MORE by the end of August and 1500 MORE by the end of September

I just want to know if those 100 more Model 3s came off the line or not...We should get an idea of the official number of Model 3 deliveries in the first week of October when Tesla reports its Q3 delivery total.

Yeah...but I realllly need them to step up production of the Model 3.
OK, you got it!

Tesla workers:
You will now work forced 80 work weeks, vacations have been deferred until 2020, working Sundays is optional but 'highly suggested'.

Mr. BF is impatient!

Is that how you want your cars and airplanes produced?

This has been coming for a while now. Musk's silicon valley roots are clashing with industrial manufacturing. Very few of the silicon valley top dogs have any clue what it takes to actually manufacture in bulk. The Model X, Model S, and Roadster have been low to very low volume cars where boutique manufacturing works. The Model 3 is supposed to be a high volume car where industrial scale manufacturing techniques will be required. The two are just enough different that what works for one won't work for the other. Elon Musk needs to learn this lesson, learn if quickly, and learn it well if Tesla is to survive and become a serious player for the future.

Telsa has hired many top execs from the Big 3 auto companies (and engineers, etc too) from the beginning. The company has never just a bunch of coders trying to figure out how to make a car. The difficulty is they are a small company trying to ramp up, rather than a big company adapting existing capacity. They're also trying to do things a little differently (less beta testing, more analysis) which has some risk, so could affect schedule (and quality). They've pretty much never hit their production goals in the past, so I think everyone has been skeptical of their plan this time as well. But my fingers are crossed...

I picked up my Model 3 this week. Very enjoyable. Way quicker than I need, plenty of room. Oh, wait, I meant my Bolt EV. :)

I mean at this point, I'd expect to see Elon, the executive board, and the design engineers on the production floor installing seats and aiming headlights. This is an all-hands on deck situation!

All that for a crappy $35k RWD EV sedan? (wait,,, will there ever be such a thing?)
They spent 3 times that much for catering their last Pep Rally.

But that does make for a funny image! Would they take off their ties, or just tuck them in?

My neighbor three houses down is a SpaceX employee and he supposedly gets his Model 3 this coming week. I'm looking forward to an in-depth evaluation!

https://www.usatoday.com/story/mone...aims-tried-block-unionizing-effort/690000001/

Tesla denies they tried to block union efforts. Tesla stated that since the names of the guards that were accused of preventing pro-union employees from passing out leaflets weren't cited, they can't verify if such activity happened.

Is that like stating a tree that fell in a forest didn't make a noise because no one was around to witness it? *lame*

So...did your neighbor get his 3? Or was the "next week" reference in Elon time, so it's more like next month?
