MyLink vs. Android Auto

FAILED GM'S IQ TEST

Our new 2017 Premier is fine - we're delighted with the car. However, it *appears* that MyLink and Android Auto do similar things, and that they don't always play well together. Or do they?

Is there a resource that can help get me up and running?

Thanks, gurus!

MyLink seems to be keyed to the audio button on the steering wheel, which I like and prefer (better than asking Google, than tapping a screen button).
Press and hold the button on the steering wheel until you hear the Google Assistant beep. This works whether you're connected via usb using android auto or via bluetooth. Works the same for iPhones with Siri and CarPlay. Not entirely clear, but its on p90 of your Infotainment guide under "Voice Pass-Thru"
And I have yet to figure out how to remotely start this 2017 Premier.
Download MyChevrolet app, sign-in, "Key Fob" and it's called "Pre-Condition" since you aren't really "starting" the electric car.

You must have had a crappy dealer.
