Anyone know why the app does not display the kWh currently used for the day, as shown on the energy information screen in the Volt.

I’ve driven several different times today, charging in between, and it would be nice to see it today. I know I can wait till the data shows in the charging history tomorrow.

I think most of us gave up on that years ago ( may be better now ? )

I added a Kill-o-Watt meter to my charging system to at least watch energy in to the Volt.

You can lookin into Voltstats if you want to try some data collection.

The app does not display the current day use because the day is not complete and the intent of the page is to show daily cumulative charged kWh usage, not a snapshot through the course of the current day. That's just the way it works.

The app and my.Chevrolet.com are much better than the old myvolt.com site -- they actually are current up to the previous day's usage report.

Thanks for the replies.

The app reports the currently available range. The car knows the current days kWh used, so it would be consistent for the app to report the same stats. Oh well.
