Had been working for 3 years fine. I got my 12' in Sept 2015. Opened it up and found the neutral and hot wires had been completely melted inside! Neutral line fuse blown (ground and hot fuses OK) and it tripped my breaker. I went to Canadian Tire and got a new inline fuse set up so I can charge for now.

Just reading that there was a campaign to replace these...is there a reference number I need for that? Also I read these can be replaced under Voltec warranty. Do I get an identical replacement or upgraded model?

Thanks

there was in 2012 but think others said it expired.

At least the cable and the plug on the car end are worth $$ for those doing a DIY projects.

Guess I should say my original still going since 2011.

Early EVSEs that had orange wires at both sides (AC NEMA plug and J1772 end) were recalled.
