I placed a factory order in early April and I'm still waiting for the vehicle. It's the first time I'm leasing a car. Basically I got $1750 off on the MSRP ($1000 Scotia rebate and $750 Auto show rebate) and the dealership didn't give me any extra discounts. They told me that the volt is very popular here, people are lining up to buy it and the quota is limited. So they cannot lower the price further. Finally, we negotiated at $228 bi-weekly (including tax and $850 lease insurance) for 3 years at 3.9% APR on a premier trim, only driver confidence I option. Additionally, I have to pay $2000 on delivery day for the tax on the incentives (13% of the government $14000 rebate).
Is it an OK deal? Have you guys got a greater offer ever? And usually how long will it take on a factory order?

Unfortunately I can't help since I know very little about the Canadian market. Hopefully someone who does can chime in.

My factory order took about 1.5 months (placed order near end of August, arrived in October). I used Unhaggle's bidding system to get a discount (~1.4k) and took it to my dealer and got them to go a bit lower than it (which allowed me to get a refund on Unhaggle). I made a cash purchase though so I don't know if your lease term is good or not.

Thanks for your sharing. I've just been told that the vehicle will not arrive in this month. Sad...
