I plan on stripping any album I put in of an ID3 title, and the system should revert to the file name which has numbers in front of it. But I shouldn't need a work-around. GM's programmers need to step up to the plate and fix this abysmal flaw in their fleet-wide software.

How do you plan on stripping the ID3 tags?

This needs to be fixed.
Whats the best way (nicely) to provide this input to GM? They need to hear that this is NOT acceptable to their customers.

I dont think there was any update. Mine worked fine (from CDs) from day one....
