Hey, that is cutting edge for the Soviet Union (er, Russia under Putin).Hard to think of a electric super car as being cutting edge especially when it looks like it just stepped out of the 70's.
I did read this however which states that while Tesla is ahead on powertrain and electronics, on assembly, not so much. Who you going to believe, the hype or the car that it's about.
