Hard to think of a electric super car as being cutting edge especially when it looks like it just stepped out of the 70's.

I did read this however which states that while Tesla is ahead on powertrain and electronics, on assembly, not so much. Who you going to believe, the hype or the car that it's about.

I like the retro style. It looks like somebody hot rodded a 50 year old POS into a sleeper. With modern safety features, I would totally drive that (although my wife might have strong objections). And since it is from Kalashnikov, you can imagine the James Bond style options that might be possible for a price.

I would not use Moskvitch and supercar in the same sentence.
Are Kalashnikov sales going low, or is the company looking for some free publicity?

It is possible to buy writing pens that are branded Uzi or Smith & Wesson. I think the car thing is a more interesting way to diversify. It can also lend a new meaning to the phrase "locked and loaded" (as in: doors locked, groceries loaded).
