Today, I reached the milestone of driving 10,000 electric, gas-free miles in my Volt. I haven't been to a gas station since December 11 of 2012 and have been averaging 611 miles-per-gallon (yes, that's six-hundred-eleven).

Today was also the day that the royal baby was named, "George Alexander Louis". Coincidence?

I passed 10,000 EV miles a month or so ago, but I'm also closing on on 1,000MPG! 918 at the moment.

Nice :D I try to drive ev as much as possible, which I can usually do 5 or 6 days a week.

I wish I could run 100% ev. According to the onstar emails I get I am ev 68% of the time. As of now my volt has 17500 miles ( i bought it with roughly 15k miles on it) and 12059 of them are EV with a lifetime mpg of 123

I will say though, this tank is turning out to be my best tank yet. I last filled up July 8th and have driven over 340 miles on 1.4 gallons of gas. Unless I have to go on a longer trip, I should be able to make it till the end of August before filling up again, maybe even into September

Congrats what is your next goal?
To see if I can make it to the one-year mark without going to a gas station!

Very nice. You folks make me want to switch jobs just so i can run 100% EV all the time.
I am fortunate that, since my workplace has no charging stations (not even close by), my round trip commute is about 40 miles (39, to be exact). I usually get home each evening with 10-12 miles left on the charge to be able to run errands and such.

It was over 6,000 last month before my Fuel Maintenance and I burned off 9.1 gallons. Now I am taking the slow, slow climb back up.
