For those who like challenges, try switching the speedometer display from English (MPH) to Metric (kilometers per hour) on a 2016-17 Volt. Hint: it is not where you would expect it to be, in the vehicle settings menu in the center display.

Traveling to Canada, I had to pull into a parking lot to avoid the distraction of a poorly designed interface. The owner's manual was of little help (and not indexed well). I did figure it out after about a minute of trial and error.

Room for improvement in future software designs. It has always been easy and intuitive before to switch to Metric and back.

It's in the DIC like the Gen 1 Volt, right? Always seemed fairly simple to me...

Yep, but using the steering wheel arrows to go left, go down, go right is not intuitive, especially when driving, and if you press the wrong arrow, it takes you back to square one.

Hmm, I actually thought it was self-explanatory. Things like KPH/MPH are on the driver dash, similar to trip counters. So first thing I did was navigate through the DIC to find this setting when I briefly went to Canada. I would've never thought to look at the Vehicle Settings for this.
